Quick Update

Hey guys! Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers! Makena went in today for her 6 month wellness check up. She's my growing girl! She did get her next round of shots, which she absolutely hated, and I don't blame her...I have a story about the nurse. The Dr prescribed her Amoxicillin and said it should help her post nasal drip, which is causing her coughs. He said that her chest sounds great (i was concerned it was settling in her lungs), and her ears still look good. But, since she's still really stuffy and her nose is running non-stop, he wanted to get her on antibiotics (I was surprised...but if it works, i'm all for it!!). Also, I know this is what is normally prescribed if she were to have an ear infection (which is common after runny or stuffy noses), so hopefully this will stop it before anything starts. She's been SO sleepy today, so hopefully we're on the mend! Thanks again! :)
